Christian Flightsuit Patch

Still seedlings

Towards the beginning May I have sown in a tray of cartridges for the printer (I and recycling are a unique thing ...) different species. Among them was a mix of seeds of cactus than you can buy in the nursery. Among other seedlings have sprouted these large (it will be a columnar cactus?). Note the second from the left that has three cotyledons instead of two as usual.

These date back to July 2009 (when even the seminal ' Epithelantha micromeris ): you can see the top ten Gymnocalycium hossei STO 227 and below, all alone and unique to germinate, a Thelocactus hexaedrophorus v . lloyd ago. majors. Given the limited births and plenty of space will continue to grow in the same pot of 6.5 cm diameter.
The Avon (Anacampseros) ustulata should be many more but my cat has stuck a paw in the Light seminiera ...
The seedling leaves is a native (Crassula?) Or coming from the bag of mix.
The Lophophora are always generous in germination, but had few seeds ...
I Notocactus roseoluteus, N. submammulosus sown in polystyrene trays last year were now just too tight and I transplanting them in plastic vaschettine deep as those used to sell vegetable planting. Among all this came out fat and green seedling clear. Who knows what?
graft was simple, though laborious. Once the sprouts with a clean brush, I practiced with the opposite end of the hole, expanding at will, as best I put the root in the hole and then, still working with the tips of two brushes, I adjusted the substrate around the collar and then I lightly pressed. Finally, spray with a large drop, I settle for water to wet the whole. It 'been painstaking task but it was worth it.
Each tub contains 12 to 20 seedlings, which in total are around 200.
